This game obviously isn't necessary to learn kanji, nor will you learn those kanjis from this game alone.
Regardless I found it to be helpful, some mnemonics really stuck with me like this one:
九 looks like 十 with a walking stick. Now I have less trouble writing 九 even from memory.
Extra exposure helps, since I just started learning and my japanese isn't good enough to practice by reading whatever I want.
This game is aimed at beginners, there are around 200 basic kanjis. Like: 上町雨山空国冬地赤青
There's no mods that let u add custom kanjis, nor dlcs with more kanjis. So if you are more advanced this title isn't for you.

10/10 now i know how to write 可愛い and can become finally kawaii af just as my sensei filfhy frank encouraged me to be so. My life is now at it´s highest peak
